Brent is the founder of Rural Directions and actively involved in the business. He is also an investor in the primary sector and brings to the business insight and knowledge from an operational perspective.
Brent and his wife Jackie run a sheep stud and beef operation at their farm Glencoe in Patoka, Hawke’s Bay – owned and farmed by the Paterson family for over 55 years.
Brent’s farming interests constitute modern systems utilising technology, defined reporting and clear governance for future direction. With this experience, Brent’s advice on structure and systems is often sought. The knowledge he gains in his own operations gives him the ability to add value and depth to our clients’ businesses.
He has regular high level interaction between Sheep Beef, Dairy and the Agribusiness sectors and also has a large commercial business network.
