Meet Xanthe

Hi, I’m Xanthe! My work spans recruitment across New Zealand’s primary sector, as well as a variety of projects across the business. I enjoy the variety of working with people across the industry and getting involved in projects that help support and grow the business.

I work closely with clients and job seekers to understand what they’re looking for and help connect the right people with the right opportunities. Alongside recruitment, I’ve also been involved in a range of projects across the business, including leading our Salary Survey, developing social media campaigns and helping launch initiatives such as Nominate a Mate.

My Journey

I grew up in sunny Hawke’s Bay and, apart from my time at Massey University, have called the region home ever since. During University, I developed an interest in HR and people-focused roles, which led me to tailor my studies to reflect this.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Management and minoring in Human Resources, I returned to Hawke’s Bay and began building my career within the primary sector. Since then, I have continued to develop my experience across recruitment, HR, marketing and project coordination, while gaining a strong understanding of the people and projects that support New Zealand’s primary sector.

Outside of Work

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me outdoors. I love camping, four-wheel driving, hunting and exploring new places, and I’m always keen for a weekend away. In winter, I enjoy getting out on the slopes, and I also value spending time with friends and family.

I’m a big believer in having a positive, can-do attitude and making the most of the time you have, both at work and outside of it. For me, it’s all about enjoying what you do, surrounding yourself with good people and keeping a healthy balance between work and life.
